THIS IS NOT A TOUR. THIS IS A MISSION
If you have been called to release your “SOUND” for the
Israel 12.12.12 Mission Trip and are looking for some tips on how to raise
funds, please read this page carefully!
RAISING FUNDS FOR THE MISSION
AWARENESS
Raising funds is not about you! Raising funds for Israel 12.12.12 is about the MISSION!
Your first step in raising funds is to create an awareness of the mission. You must know what the vision for Israel 12.12.12 is and you must learn to clearly communicate that vision and your passion to be a part of it. Share your story and let people feel your enthusiasm. Be able to articulate the importance of this trip and what it means to you personally and be ready to answer the following questions. Why do you feel God is calling
you to participate? What is your
creative expression to be released in Israel? How do you feel this trip is going to change your life? If you can do this, you're ready for the next step!
JUST ASK!
Writing a Contribution Letter
Create a letter explaining the Israel 12.12.12 Mission and
how you are planning to be a part of this Monumental Event. The letter should include the following:
- What you are raising money for? You want to make sure that the person you are talking to understands the impact of your mission.
- How much money are you hoping to raise?
- Ask for a contribution and let people know that with their contribution you are taking a part of them on the mission with you.
- A note of THANKS!
Include links to the Israel 12.12.12 BlogSpot for people to
go and check out the Mission.
There are several resources you can use on the Israel 12.12.12 BlogSpot
to promote your trip http://israel121212.blogspot.com/p/help-promote.html
Include links to your social
media - Facebook, Twitter, how to contact you by email.
Send your letter out by email or
snail mail to everyone you know!

Personal Interaction: Asking Without Fear
Don’t be afraid! Some people will not be able to contribute and will say no. That's ok. Some will say yes. You'll never know until you ask. As part of your planning process write out a script for yourself so that you’ll feel more comfortable once you’re on the phone or just talking with someone. And remember, always thank everyone who responds to your request, and be sure to thank those who say "no" for their time and consideration.
Your request may sound
something like this…
Hi Drake, how are you?
(Pleasantries)
Listen, I’ve got something
important to ask you. (Make the Transition)
As you may know, there is a
mission trip to Israel on 12.12.12. The doors have been opened for worshippers
from around the world to come and share their sound of prayer, praise and
proclamation. I really feel called to be a part of this mission. (Make
the Connection)
I feel God is calling me to
be a significant part of this mission. (Tell them how your sound will be
released). Please pray that God
will use me. (Involve them)
Drake, right now, I am in
the process of raising funds to go on this mission. My goal is to raise $ ______
(Tell Them Why)
Would you be willing to
contribute $50 to help me reach that goal? (Make the Request)
Enlisting the Help of Others
You, by yourself, can make progress on your own, but enlisting the help others creates more
opportunity to share the ISRAEL 12.12.12 Mission.
For example – If you ask 10 of your closest friends and
family to each ask 10 people to contribute $20 to your Mission you will have
already raised $2000 toward your trip.
So make a list of 10 people that you can talk to and share
the importance of the Israel 12.12.12 Mission. Share your letter and the Israel 12.12.12 promo video with them and ask if they will help you?
It really is possible!!!
Other ideas and ways people can help:
Garage Sales
Put something of value for sale on Craigslist
Car Washes
“A-Thons,” like walk-a-thons, read-a-thons, dance-a-thons,
and bike-a-thons
Bake Sales
Many direct sales companies like Cookie Lee, Partylite, Gold
Canyon, and others offer fundraising benefits in lieu of hostess gift earnings.
Have a Fundraising BBQ or party. Share the video on the Israel 12.12.12 blogspot and let
everyone know how important it is that the “Sound of Worship” be released in
Israel.
Create your “Lemonade Stand” – Use your creative discipline to
raise funds. Sell your art,
poetry, music, your "time" to create funds.
Don’t just do one thing….DO them all!

Thanks so much for this amazing page! I am getting ready to send out a letter and was a bit "stuck" on how to begin. The suggestions on this page have really helped get my words together.
ReplyDeleteSo very exciting! Blessing upon blessing to you!
ReplyDeleteWow I'm so excited about this mission trip and I definitely feel called to participate in this amazing opportunity! I'm thrilled to be given the opportunity to apply what the Lord has been teaching me about the power of our released sound in prayer and worship.
ReplyDeleteCan you please share with me how I can apply for a sponsorship/scholarship. I am immediately beginning to raise funds as I can and know that the Lord will open up the door for me to go, even on my substitute teacher's salary!
Thank you again for this tremendous opportunity to unite my unique sound with the sound of others called to the nations of the earth in releasing the Kingdom of Heaven and glory of God!

DeleteI am looking forward to worshipping on my violin in the Holy Land! I have been blessed to have been able to play in many places in the world, but now I will be playing in the one land that I have longed to worship in! This will be life changing!
